Well, for me, it's more like: "I'm waiting for iLife '11."...
:p

Someone posted in another thread that they contacted apple about this and their response was that "if ilife is released within the next two months, customers who purchase now will be given a free copy or download or whatever"

Yeah that's usually the case. No point in waiting for iLife to come out if you need a new system now.

Dont understand the point of all these thredas, i mean just buy and imac now if you need it. and sell it when the new comes. macs have high resale value, so the next imac won't cost that much.

Sounds pretty useless to me. What would LGA 2011 be then? PCWatch is the only source that has mentioned it and that was ages ago. Reports I've read suggest LGA 1155 for mainstream (maximum of 4 cores) and LGA 2011 for high-end & server market (+4 cores)
There were ones other than PC Watch but those were late last year.

I'm not just waiting for a sandy bridge iMac, I'm waiting for an iMac that has: blu ray, USB 3.0, light peak, HDMI, faster FireWire, expresscard slot and microSD (I think that what's it's called.)

Should be here by the London Olympics :D
