After getting the iPad surfing the net has never been so personal. I am more connected than ever. Because of this I have hit the "end of the Internet" a few time in a way. Data is not refreshed, content getting stale, no where to go. I need more variety in my browsing now that I have the iPad. I am getting burned out on my regular content. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

You don't have to browse the internet constantly;)

On a serious note, I know what you mean. If I spend a day infront of my computer working, then I end up reading the same stories on different websites.

Agreed. I've been on the net since dial up in 1997. It was a highly unregulated mess which was fantastic. Each website had a personal feel to it because there were no real development tools to create beautiful websites. There was no youtube, no twitter, no facebook. It was great. It was like the wild west, you had no idea what you would find everytime you surfed. I actually used yahoo to find things.

Whereas now I only use google to search really obscure things. Everything is funneled into a few websites. News, blogs, ads they're all the same. I only visit Engadget and macrumors consistently. I don't find anything new after 14 years online, everything is starting to look the same.

Life is boring. Everyday I basically hang with the same people and do the same things. Oh sure once in a while I throw some novelty into my routine but for the most part I have reached the end of what life has to offer.

Go to Craigslist, click on Adult Services, get $300 from the ATM, life suddenly gets very exciting again.

I run out of Internet at least once a week. I then usually just come here or go to some other forum.

I think people who believe the internet to be boring aren't really using it to it's potential.

Ever watched a movie and decided you wanted to know more about the story behind it? Ever looked up something just to see how it worked or where it came from? There is so much more to the internet than this site in particular or any forum for that matter.

In the end you have two choices, find something else to do online or go outside.

I'm thinking maybe your life is boring. Doing anything constantly will be boring. I like pizza but if I had it every day I'd soon hate it. Maybe take up skydiving. That'll get you to p your pants. Or maybe just find another hobby to take up more if your apparently limitless free time.
