Nothing else will enter beta for iOS 10 after 10.3.3, even if we got a 10.3.4. The is because it is now impossible to get the PB file for iOS 10. Apple only has the iOS 11 PB profile available. iOS 10 betas are done as soon as 10.3.3 drops to the public.

No need to argue. I was just speculating a little. Also I am already on 11 since day one of the first Developer Beta and 10.whatever means nothing to me since then. But I like this thread. It's kinda funny. :)

Probably not.

Mmh, it is interesting that we (working for Canadian bank whose European branches in two countries prepares the launch) see major activity in the background. These activities are the same to those we had during the Canadian launch and Italian launch of Apple Pay.

You cannot use Apple Pay in Italy without using iOS 10.3.2 as it contains special validation for cards...

For example: N26 cannot start in other European countries (outside Germany) as their cards are not able to be activated as they are specific German bank cards.

Thats very interesting, thanks for that! So, do you think these new countries will need 10.3.3, or do you think there is a possibility that the code was in 10.3.2, but not active yet?

Based on last releases, we might need a software update to support the cards (different card types). Our European branches (four countries) for example have seven different card types.

Typically Apple wants to cover all different card types for a country, even though the launch partner may only cover one banking card type. So Apple can just "activate" a new partner locally.

As for banks who want to implement Apple Pay, they get specialized beta releases (extended by the Apple Pay implementation) and pre releases. But those are tied to specific devices (more stricter than normal beta restrictions).

Hearing that there are/were problems with the implementation of two banking card types (for Germany) which might pushes the release to next week.

Why is this crucial? Apple gains time to decide (with help from partners) which card they want to implement. They have to „activate these card types by this release as they needs it for the watch-implementation (for older iPhones) of Apple Pay. This problem also occurs in macOS and watchOS..

Interesting is that months ago, Apple replied my bug report to inform me that I should test this with 'iOS 10.4'. And this bug is not fixed in iOS 10.3.3 beta 6...

Interesting that 10.4 may come out. Surely that means 10.3.3 must be released very soon. Especially with iOS 11 not that far away.

Maybe, hopefully! Then they seed 10.4 beta. Although I would be surprised with been so close to 11.

There will not be a 10.4. It's not possible to seed any more betas. The iOS 10 PB profile is non-existent and everyone else is on iOS 11 now. There has never once been a X.x build released this late in the game. iOS 11 only has 8-9 weeks to go at max.

The only reason there will be a 10.4 is for devices that did not get iOS 11 and that would drop in the Fall with iOS 11. But that means it couldn't get betas. But my guess is a 10.3.4.

If one was to get their hands on 10.3.3 pb6 without a profile/developer account, is it possible to downgrade to 10.3.2 if there are any issues.

I'm not planning on doing this. No sarcasm. No really. The more insist there's no sarcasm the more it seems sarcastic. It's not. I mean it. Really :D

I don't see why you can't downgrade to 10.3.2 as they are both non-beta build numbers. But after about 2 weeks now. I haven't come across a single stability issue in 10.3.3.

sooo...iOS 10.4 today? got it!
[doublepost=1500474435][/doublepost]question for those who can explain it...why don't they go 10.1 > 10.2 > 10.3, ect. why the 10.3.x > 10.3.x. highest ever was 8.4.

X.x released are for added features and bug fixes. X.x.x are for just bug fixes. Most iOS versions stopped around X.1.x before iOS 8.

Beta 6 is 2 weeks old today so potentially it may release today. But of course anything could or could not happen. Possibly waiting on the other updates to become ready (mac, TV, etc)
