If the rumor about the iPad event being next week is true, I assume it will be the GM.

[doublepost=1489432280][/doublepost]Does Apple act on the bugs reported on the bugportal during the period of betas, and address them in the same series of Betas? Or does it pend it for the next major release like 10.4?
In other words, can any bug get addressed in a week after submission?
Who actually decides?
Is it engineering? or is it marketing.
Can someone make them prioritize any particular bug?
The main issue is the gestation time period- the shortest time they require to address any reported issue on bug portal.
I've had them act on bugs during the same series of betas. I reported a problem with the camera in iMessage early in the 10.3 beta program. By Feb 21, they had resolved the issue and contacted me to report on whether the fix (embedded in a subsequent 10.3 beta) solved my issue. It had. Priortization, I think, goes to the most serious issues (apps not working, etc...). That's why so many of the lag or frame drop issues remain unresolved: not critical to most users' experiences.

the build number of beta 7 doesn't scream this is close to final to me? still contains the letter 'a' at the end.

Downloaded and installed beta 7. I can't see anything obvious as far as changes goes. Perhaps it was general housekeeping and bug fixes in preparation for the full roll-out of 10.3!
