Don’t forget to set your default ringtone to silent. Give your contacts a unique tone. This way, you won’t be bothered by the actual spam call ring.
Oh, that's a good idea! Thank you.

You’re gravely mistaken. It’s an enormous problem that’s getting worse and worse.Don’t think people use call blockers much in modern time to be honest. Telephone marketing used to be crazy in the 90s and people used all sorts to stay away from those calls. Nowadays it’s a failed model. Personally I haven’t met anyone in the last decade who actually got hassled by spam calls if I’m honest.

Apple has to explain why blocked calls can leave BLOCKED MESSAGES.
MAKES ZERO SENSE.
Hahahahahaha guess you don't live in the US. They estimate in 5 years 85% of calls will be spam
Nope, I’m in the UK. Didn’t know it’s still that bad in the US.

Hiya , been using it for a year now. Its free, it works, I see no reason to try anything else.
Want a clear winner (in the US), there you have it...
by default all VOIP calls should be BLOCKED by our carriers. if you want it unblocked then you call in and it's the carriers responsibility to tell you the risks involved. it would minimize the chances of the elderly from getting scammed and minimize spam calls. these idiots from india are not calling on regular landlines as they're all traceable.
i literally do not know one person who has called me from VOIP ever in my life and that's what these spammers are using.
If Hiya is the clear winner, then we’re all in trouble b/c in my experience, Hiya is barely mediocre at best.Hiya , been using it for a year now. Its free, it works, I see no reason to try anything else.

It's not about "still being that bad"...this is something new.

As a Hiya user, I vehemently disagree.

Pretty much most enterprise voice systems are VOIP now. So no, not a great solution. I'd miss most of my business calls.
Great, right up until you miss an emergency call from the hospitalDon’t forget to set your default ringtone to silent. Give your contacts a unique tone. This way, you won’t be bothered by the actual spam call ring.
RoboKiller works great. The pre-recorded “Answerbots” are hilarious! But be careful if a legit call gets identified as spam the outgoing recording could be embarrassing . You can control or record your own bot. I’ve been using it for several months. Note it is a subscription service.I've been using RoboKiller for the past few weeks. Seems pretty solid so far.
Really quite surprised at the lack of responses but moreso at the lack of effectiveness with the blockers themselves. I sincerely thought a clear winner at least front runner would emerge.
