Every post you make, you twist it like a pretzel, so you can promote Adblock Fast. It is well past old.

As I stated previously, it doesn't make sense to buy an app, have a problem on one website, and then toss the app aside for something else. That kind of thinking and expectation is illogical, in my opinion.

Adblock Fast is not perfect. It doesn't block every ad on every website. It has problems just like any other blocker. Stop promoting it as if it were perfect in every situation. It isn't.

If you find a problem website and report it, and the developer is not responsive even after acknowledging that there is a problem, it may be time to look elsewhere. At least give the developer a reasonable chance to provide customer service. Too many people here expect a content blocker to block any website they go to and when that doesn't happen, they complain, bad mouth it, and look for the next app that they can rally around as the next be all content blocker. If anyone wants to get an example of what I am referring to, they can look at your post history. It's classic.

Reporting a problem website is not working free for the developer. Beta testing would be working free for the developer.

A well written response but I fear you may be more successful speaking to the proverbial 'brick wall. '

Purify's blocking of cookie warning pop-ups has put it ahead of Crystal and Adblock Fast for me. BasicGreatGuy's point from some time ago remains a very wise position: it's the blocker that stays the course, with regular updates and decent responsiveness to customers, that is the best bet in the long run. Everyone's trying it now, but how many will still be updating in six months? Look at Twitter clients or to-do lists; now many still get regular updates these days?

Do you need to occasionally open Purify and Adblock Fast to get updated lists or does it do it automatically?

I remember Crystal having a switch in the background app refresh settings but don't see one for Purify or Adblock Fast.

The fact that you took the time to create the post, without addressing any supposed misinformation, sheds light on how you wasted all of our time reading your empty words.

Calm yourself everyone is entitled to their own opinions. He didn't waste my time, you don't speak for all of us.

I am calm. Nothing in my post suggest I wasn't calm.

The guy was trolling and I addressed it. If you enjoy reading troll posts, knock your out. I, and many here don't.

Are you a forum moderator? As I said everyone is entitled to their opinions, whether they are trolling or promoting their favorite content blocker.

Skipping Blacklist v1.2. 2.0 is coming, with a new blocking framework, multitasking capabilities, and speed improvements. I think you guys are going to like it. Who wants to beta test?

I didn't say people aren't allowed to their opinion. I said I was against trolling and addressed it as a member.

I am not interest in arguing with you about this.

There is no argument, just that you don't speak for all and everyone is entitled to their opinions, that is all.

I'm wondering if you folks can take that to private message rather than continuing to post in the thread. No, I'm not a moderator, but you are creating unnecessary scrolling for some of us on small screens. Just a thought.

What was the opinion though? That there's misinformation? OK...about what exactly? Without that information there really isn't even a complete opinion, just an incomplete thought that doesn't contribute or really say anything.

Is it really necessary to keep going on about this topic?

It's obvious he's talking about content blockers or one in particular. We really don't need it spelled out.

And what's the misinformation about either one of those things? Again, an incomplete thought that doesn't say anything.

I think the block list in Purify is embedded in the app itself so it the app has to be updated to include the newer version. Purify dev has mentioned that icloud list sync is coming in future update.

And there's me thinking it did auto update.

Does that mean the Purify app has to be launched occasionally to update ?
