My 3 year old likes Talking Tom, Talking Hippo, and Drawing Den. He loves Toy Story and Toy Story 2. There are a couple of iPod apps that he plays on my iPad (Slingshot Cowboy and Tozzle) that look fine in 2x. I'll have to check out the other recommendations. He really likes scrolling through the photos too.
He'll sit on the couch (or on the floor) playing with my iPad for hours if I let him.
