The iPad arrived and it's an Air 2

Nope... I have the Pro 9.7 and there are no signs of vibration. The sound quality and loudness is awesome.

Same here, had the Air 2 the vibration was awful, so much so I kept the volume low at all times. My 9.7 Pro however has none of these issue and the sound is fantastic for such a thin device.
