Yea, I am not sure we need thread after thread on the same topic. The iPad is a computer/tool, just like any other one that Apple sells (iMac, MacBook, Mac Pro, iPhone, Apple Watch). For some people, the iPad is just what they want. For others, they need something different. Use the best tool for the job and move on.

My MacBook is just a slimmer iMac. My iMac is just a bigger MacBook

Yes and no; it has the same software capabilities between the two, but the apps and uses are different. That is, Banktivity on the iPhone is different than Banktivity for the iPad, and split screen multitasking is something the phone could never really do because of the size. But these are the exact same reasons why the iPhone Plus / Max cannot replace an iPad mini.

Just use better snap tool or magnet on macos for split screen the ipad is just a iphone ios isnt a file system like desktop anyone telling you ipad is special is lying to cover up spending all that money, its a nice toy but not worth the price only good for artists that need to draw over than that its for facebook netflix and games a big iphone

If anything I wish my iPhone were more like my iPad...I’d love to have split screen multitasking and PIP on a big iPhone.
