What you are not understanding. How is that not pwned DFU? I even get a message in iFaith stating I'm in pwned DFU mode. And I'm not following instructions? Excuse me, I followed it as exactly onscreen with iFaith for pwned DFU and I even got a message stating I'm in pwned DFU. Every tutorial all over google states that is pwned DFU based on how I did it described above. So, how is that normal DFU? Since you can't tell me how to enter pwned DFU which makes iFaith and everything else incorrect.

you typed:
I don't know. But it's hold power and home for 10 seconds when the phone is off than continue holding home and release the power but hold home for 30 seconds.
so I had assumed you were in normal DFU mode

Oh. I do this every time to enter pwned DFU and I had no errors but I am releasing the home button too soon. When I get to limera1n, I release the home right away when I am suppose to continue holding it until it is complete.

I just found out by a Google search.
this is the part that confused me. once you're in DFU mode, you don't have to keep holding the home button to put it into pwned DFU mode. (you don't have to hold it for the full 30 seconds to be placed into DFU mode)

That's the instructions iFaith gave me to enter pwned DFU. Now I don't know how to enter pwned DFU.

if you go to the main menu of iFaith, click on "Use DFU Pwner (iReb)" and it'll go through the steps to place you into pwned DFU mode again. Since you said you don't know how to put your device into pwned DFU mode, you must not have been in pwned DFU mode when you downgraded to iTunes 11.0.5 and did the shift+click restore

I don't know but will this work? BTW, first I did got iFaith to work again. Second, didn't like the sn0wbreeze idea. Why? Well, short answer I got the black and white screen of death. How did I fix it without taking the 2 wires off of the motherboard? Well, hold power+home and keep holding it until the phone restarts.

Now, if I ever want to use redsn0w, would this work for untethered? Go into extras and load the IPSW I downloaded from iClarified and than click back and than click jailbreak and make sure the only option is ticked would be install Cydia and than follow the onscreen instructions? I'm on iOS version 6.1 (10B141). iPhone 4 CDMA meaning Verizon Wireless.

I get the same error. iFaith says that pwned DFU mode has been entered, so I don't think we made a mistake. Maybe iTunes got an update to prevent unauthorized restores.

Yep, just as I thought:

"Moving on to Error 11... This error seems to only be related to devices with basebands that require bbtickets (So basically the iPhone 4). Even though iFaith/sn0wbreeze removes the baseband requirement, iTunes 11.1 is expecting the iPhone 4 baseband firmware to be signed no matter what and notices that it isn't. This causes it to error out with code 11 (Error 11). It is worth noting that this issue was already present in the Mac OS MobileDevice framework on iTunes 11.0.x. When iTunes 11.1 was released for Windows, it looks like they finally merged code. Thus bringing the issue to Windows with iTunes 11.1. This does not affect the iPhone 3GS (bbfw is always pre-signed),

A temporary workaround to fixing Error 11 on Windows is by downgrading to iTunes 11.0.x. You can find download links to old revisions of iTunes over here (thanks cj!)."
