Try a new line. That one is getting old. I'm fine, you seem to be on the defensive most of the time. Why is that?

Is there a reason that every time you have responded to one of my posts, you have tried to push some stereotype that you have of me rather than discuss the actual topic at hand?

No matter ones opinion of the carrier & iPhone situation, it's only money. Big Business excels at the art of extracting as much as possible from the public, it's been this way for a very long time.

Is there a reason that you respond to my posts that wasn't directed at you and claim strawman, you ask for a source when I'm stating my opinion, when I provide a source you say it's irrelevant, and whenever anyone posts something that you don't like you resort to these same responses over and over again? I know you must defend Apple at all costs, even when someone isn't criticizing them. If memory serves me correctly, I started this thread and have been discussing it just fine with a few users until you came in and started your circle talking and turned it into a thread about me. Why do you always do that?

Because you were arguing against a stereotype.

you ask for a source when I'm stating my opinion,

No, I ask for a source when you are stating a fact not in evidence.

Wow. You've got the full stereotype going there. None of that actually happened. Maybe you should read this thread again. All of my responses to you have been on topic, except for the straw man comment which was a direct response to your own comment. If you want to discuss something that happened in another thread, do it in that thread. And please stop the BS fanboy allegations.

Twist it anyway you like if it makes you feel better. Back to the topic at hand. I'd like to see long term figures for the iPhone on AT&T to see how they have actually done with it. Wishful thinking, but it would be interesting to see a comparison between the iPhone and the other smartphones.

I hope all the cell companies go broke! They are RIP OFFS to say the least! It's JUST A WALKIE TALKIE get real! I think they are doing well for being such BS! I can't wait till WIMAX hits and hits hard because the cell companies will be GONE BABY he he... they'll do their best to keep that one on the back burner I'm sure but people want better pricing for a walkie talkie man!
I have yet to see a walkie talkie with GPS, email, and random other apps, or one that requires a central tower, or can contact places thousands of miles away.
It is just like the cable companies who raise their rates but give nothing in return. It is one thing to raise and say you are now going to get xyz. However to raise the rates and not give anything in return, not even better coverage or services. That is where people get upset.

The main reason for rate increases are the content providers (Viacom, Fox, etc.) wanting more money in each new contract with the cable company.

After reading all of this, I see what Apple is doing. All the carriers are expanding their LTE networks fast to stay competitive. All while Apple is forcing them to lose money on the iPhone.

What's next? Easy. Buy your iPhone with iTalk phone service. It's only $199/month for 250 minutes and 1GB data. We have the best phone network because we bought AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile.

Everyone will want to sign up because its, well, Apple.

They make it up over the 24 months of payments, AND the surge in NEW subscribers.

why not just charge more for the iphone (like $100 more so it starts at 299, which is still subsidized). People will pay it so I do not understand why it has to be 199 to start

You'll notice that the two things you posted are actually collected by government. :D

Like I said, it's not just a figure of speech. Any more than me constantly referring to the guy down the street as a %&*$&% is just a figure of speech. I hope we understand each others point of view by this point. :) Thanks.
We understand that the other person is obviously wrong.:)
