You had to have connected your phone to the computer at some point in time. Videos do not transfer via photostream.

If it's not supposed to happen then this must be the case. I'm assuming it wouldn't work with videos because it wouldn't happen as instantly as Apple wants it to seem to work.

I think that is probably why. A 9 minute video would take a while to upload, but I still wish it did. Dropbox does both =/
