I can’t for the life of me understand people with cases etc. I can understand a sleev but that’s all.
I don’t want to destroy the perfect design with a case or display cover.

I definitely don't get the cases. I understand skins and stickers but - I do neither. Cases make the laptop look cheap and often crack/break looking horrible - or they collect gunk/dust/dirt. But hey, if it makes people happy, I'm not going to get in the way :).

Why not. You can handle it more like an iPad without leaving marks and dents on everything you bump into. Also leaning the top against glass edge at my work desk doesn't scratch either the aluminium or the glass. It just give you more freedom. And you don't really need a sleeve, when you put it in your bag. I just wished they still made a 11-12" size version like my old air.

We have an old wooden table with an irregular surface in the dining room. The space grey coating has been scuffed by moving the Air around on the table.
