This is a good idea and a good start, but as newly self elected head of the 'tar police, I'd like to offer a few guidelines to 'tar design that will make the forum browsing experience more enjoyable for all involved.

Suggestion #1: No madly spinning avatar

The above examples are way too fast and need to be slowed down or stopped for a few seconds before spinning again.

Suggestion #2: No fast cycling (repeating) avatars

Pretty much the same as Suggestion #1.

Suggestion #3: See Suggestion #1 and #2.

Well, give Mr. A a break...he's one of two users in this thread who actually has an animated 'tar atm. I actually like his. But yeah, some of them drive me kinda craaaazy.

There is a difference between boring and subtle. Just because it moves fast doesn't mean its not boring either...some of those spinning one's actually get old really fast.

And I've done fast ones before that aren't annoying like the endlessly spinning ones....

That is the coolest 'tar ever! As said by the self proclaimed 'tar judge.

I seriously spent about an hour trying to figure out what it spelled for myself but all I could get was the G, D and a backwards E. Thought it may be initials or something... Anyways...
