That music and that beautiful concept art in the ending credits would get seared into my head each week. Just awesome stuff.
That concept art under the credits is awesome. I wouldn’t mind those paintings being gathered into a book.

That is frankly amazing to have a huge led back drop displayed in a huge circular room and then have the entire setting photographed with actors is the next step forward in CGI.Really interesting video about the tech behind the show:
- I want to see his face!!
And I think 30 minute episodes hinder story telling.
My wife bought this:
Where did she get that? Have one I must!
Well, content is content, 1 hour episodes would be better IMO, but that would mean more of a commitment on Disney’s part. It’s my position, you just can’t accomplish that much in 30 min.I think it's done on purpose; this series is not about storytelling as GoT or most series would be. It's a lightweight series, aimed at entertaining only, without much deep meaning or deep characters. It's a space-western show, with a very light main plot arc, and self-contained episodes. I think that in an era of amazing TV shows this is also a breath of fresh air, not dissimilar to what Cobra Kai (another amazing light TV series) is. I think it also aims to catch all the peripherical SW viewers. I watched E1,2,3,4,5,6,7. I obviously like E4,5,6 a lot, barely tolerate E1-3, and couldn't stand E7 (I will watch E8 and E9 sooner or later). My wife doesn't really like SW. Yet, both of us fell in love with The Mandalorian. Same goes for my kids, and many of our friends who know about SW, may watch the movies but are not that into the lore.
Plus... baby yoda.

Considering that a LOT of series, even those with only 10 1 hour episodes, manage to cram half the season with “filler” episodes, i will say that sometimes only getting straight to the point is much better.Well, content is content, 1 hour episodes would be better IMO, but that would mean more of a commitment on Disney’s part. I would not put the percentage to 50%, more like 20-30%.Considering that a LOT of series, even those with only 10 1 hour episodes, manage to cram half the season with “filler” episodes, i will say that sometimes only getting straight to the point is much better.
Oh hell yes. Can't wait to watch these episodes.
Disney Plus will premiere eight-part Mandalorian docuseries on Star Wars Day
Disney is giving Star Wars fans a new docuseries that will air over eight weeks.www.theverge.com
Outstanding!!! Thank you for posting this... I too can't wait to see these. I am hoping the new season isn't delayed too much given everything that is going on right now.
I just bought a Mandalorian t-shirt yesterday I will definitely watch this!
As for the series, I am fine with a delay, even substantial. I'd rather have them do a good product than rush out to meet $$$ deadlines.
That is ok, I see you shirt, and raise you "The Child" from SideShow Collectables! Of course this is "really" for the wife!!! That is my line and I am sticking to it!!!
Same here my friend. Same here. "A Christmas present for you, my dear love."
I will wait on the reviews to see if I actually buy it.
LOL... Exactly!!! But of course it will look really good right here in the office slash display room that I am putting together!
They didn't have the "parody trailer" part when I saw it listed and got excited.
