I heard on the radio that iPhone is the most anticipated phone since Alexander Graham Bell! This is one big step in consumer electronics! Yay iPhone!
I seem to recall that Graham Bell tried selling his invention to Western Union for $100,000, who was not impressed and passed on it. He then went on to found the Bell Telephone Company.
Seems like people were not into the hype on the original phone.
Hmm...maybe he held some sort of "olde-fashioned" press event telling the people of his "grand invention."
I'd go so far as to say it's the most anticipated piece of technology ever - never mind phone.

What is interesting is that Apple broke there rule of thumb about keeping a product secret until a month or so before it is available. By doing so, they have created the biggest marketing machine ever for a cell phone.
Whoever suggested that they break their silence a half a year in advance to launch is brilliant.
I think I might have to go with the lunar launch over the iPhone. Just by a smidge.I'd go so far as to say it's the most anticipated piece of technology ever - never mind phone.
Hey, Steve....When will you be making an iPhone with at least 40GB hard drive? The iPhone looks coooool, and a LOT of NEAT FEATURES. But it is NOT worth buying one till Apple increase the space on the hard drive. Will be waiting.....
Apple could have solved this problem with a simple flash card slot! Crazy that a $500 phone doesn't have one.
Anyone know the reason for going flash memory and not micro hard drive? Is it really that much more of a powerdrain?
