i would agree it is definitely the most anticipated phone ever....its so funny over here in australia, people are bragging about how they have ordered their iPhone and are getting the 8gb one...i just laugh at them..........
I seem to recall that Graham Bell tried selling his invention to Western Union for $100,000, who was not impressed and passed on it. He then went on to found the Bell Telephone Company.
Seems like people were not into the hype on the original phone.
Nope...nothing could reach the masses like the iPhone hype....basicly majority of people on the planet knows about it.(there are large number who don't, but there are billions who do)
I believe Apple tried getting Verizon to put out the iPod, and they passed.![]()
thanks..please PM me the links to the "whack" stuff about the iPhone...I'm sure I'll be able to explain myself betterlook you seem like a nice dude, but you have been posting some really whack stuff related to iPhone.
Lets get some perspective, the majority of people in this world definitely do not know what the iPhone is/QUOTE]
6Billion people....most of North America, I assume lot of Europe(is this untrue?)...China does(enought to be copying it), I'm sure people in Asia/South American/Africa have heard of it...not as many, but still large groups of people. Maybe not the majority of the world, but 1Billion is a number I would not have trouble saying have heard of iPhone.
The world has a ton of people in it and most live at much much lowers means than we have ever dreamt of.
No, really![]()
Thats good..I'm not trying to sound like a crazy foolNot trying to get all high and mighty,
there are a lot larger concerns in the world consuming people's attention than the iPhone.
I think your mixing up know of the iPhone, and eagerly waiting for it to launch. You can know of the iPhone, and be concerned with other stuff.
I'm ready to buy the iPhone too...and again I think you mixed up what I meant. I don't think the world is sitting around counting the hours until iPhone launch, but having tons of people heard of the iPhone...yup.I still can't wait to get mine and feel lucky to have the means to do so.
What is dangerous though is that high anticipation=lots of disappointment even if the product is amazing just b/c the fact that people make unrealistic speculation of how amazing it will be.
I have come to the conclusion it's a form of offensive jealousy. Basically all the people who've been pooh poohing Apple in favor of PC tech have had their worst nightmare visited upon them - the glory of Apple - and this might have to force them to generally acknowledge that Apple is a pretty hot company...
