I think good on N for keeping it so secret - pretty much everything else in tech gets leaked these days but not one solid thing about this has leaked....we dont even know if it will a Switch 2 or a completely new console they're that good !

Yeah. I haven’t bought a Switch yet because I’m waiting for news about the new Nintendo console.
After not using it for about six months, I've just got my Switch Lite out of storage, and I'm wondering what games people recommend. I love RPGs and other games like Super Smash Bros.
Metroid Prime: Remastered is great if you are into exploration and sci-fi settings. Plays like a dream on the Switch.
Immortals Fenyx Rising Gold Edition (All the DLC) for £2.06 (well was for me with Revolut) from the Czech eShop - just did it ! Bargain.
I think Nintendo has always been doing this when the joy-cons came out. Otherwise they will face lawsuits to the wazoos.
Have you played any of the Legend of Heroes games? Highly recommended, and in the last year two games (Trails from Zero and Trails from Azure, the so-called Crossbell Arc) came out. Loved Zero and just starting Azure ... they are 100+ hour games, so be forewarned!
Just passed my ltd edition Diablo switch on to a family member and bought a ltd edition Zelda OLED switch. What a difference. Also having a play with Tears of the Kingdom on my M1 MacBook Pro getting ready for my cartridge delivery on the 12th.
I just passed my Year One Switch to my mom and she's using it for NuPokemon. I don't play my Switch anymore ever since I got a Steam Deck so it'll see more use with her.

I have a steam deck too, but got the OLED switch for the screen. I just wish a 3rd party put out OLED screens for the steam deck. Maybe valve will do that for the deck 2 😀
I pre-ordered then cancelled the ASUS ROG Ally today ... I don't care that much about playing '2023 AAA buggy AF' games like Jedi Survivor, but I DO make heavy use of the trackpads, d-pad (the Ally one is terrible by reports), back paddles (Deck has 4 vs 2 on Ally) and so on. I am hard pressed to believe that in 6 months we won't be hearing about a ton of Windows 11 issues on the Ally like on so many laptops.
Neither. Get the Steam Deck instead. It's cheaper than the Ally, and while it's not OLED it succeeds in everything else the Ally gets wrong, namely comfort, ergonomics, and the software. SteamOS is designed for handhelds, Windows 11 is not.
Picked up the collector's edition of Tears Of The Kingdom at Target this morning. Are the extras worth the extra $60? Not really. But it's a novelty. And it came with a free TOTK fanny pack lol.
My resolve at not getting this before finishing the two games I mentioned above is fading fast!
We are way overdue for a new switch. About an hour in to Tears of the Kingdom and have some slowdowns, and the shadows look very rough. After the first area my immediate reaction was "Man this is way too low res". I am playing docked.
From my understanding it is the same engine as the first game which is CPU heavy (cause physics). Not sure how they can reduce the load without messing things up. @Ethosik is right they need to release new hardware.
My Switch was overheating and the fan was buzzing and automatically going into sleep mode at times, but it turns out some compressed air fixed it lol. But yeah, it does slow down sometimes, but that might have been due to my system getting hot. Let me see if blowing the fan out fixes performance.
Every time I use ultra hand, I get large FPS drops. No matter what area. I would give this an 8/10. Not sure why almost everything is giving this 10/10. Still mostly enjoyable, but so disappointing.
I actually have a brand new OLED. I don't have sleep issues, but the performance is just okay at best, frustrating quite often though.
I think the newer switches have the .Little cores fused off, which is a shame because I feel like those extra cores could have been useful.
