That depends on where you are! Here in Fort Myers we have it pretty good. Not too big, not too small. Lot's of economic growth, new schools including (2) 4 year universities, plenty of things for the young people to do and best of all - a new Apple Store at Coconut Point in Estero
marlins vs. cardinals 3/22 pics (pt. 1 of 2)
went to the marlins cardinals game yesterday, with a sell out crowd, and cameras abound the stadium...all the local news stations were there. sorry, no pics of that, but here's the in game pics:

...but he gets paid to pitch heaters such as this.
it's so taguchi swinging and missing a ball.
carptenter almost ruined uggla's pretty face, as shown here, with him narrowly missing his head.
but uggla struck out, and heads back to the dugout.

due to threat of rain and impending sellout in st. lucie, i'm not going to today's game with the braves and the mets. looks like that ends my st tour...although i could sneak in one last game tomorrow...not sure, but i have to try...

Is that in Abacoa? My G-parents have a place about 5 mins from the stadium if it is, I've always wanted to go down during Spring Training but never have.
yeah. it's the dmc-tz1 i got as an early graduation gift to myself back in december. about a month after getting it, my parents old camera breaks (i used that one sometimes prior to getting the lumix), but it was old anyway. they aren't in a hurry to get a new camera, but i told them the lumix is a good option. they actually told me about the lumix back in the summer while shopping for one, as i was getting a powershot beforehand, but the lumix was compact and much cheaper than the powershot i wanted (i was looking for a camera with great optical zoom).
yeah, it's abacoa. how could you tell? alot of my friends go down there on a regular basis and know the area, i usually go down there just for st games, just another planned community on the other side of the city.
and it looks like for some reason, my hosting site decided to dump some of the pics with some city view. at least i still have the originals in my iphoto library.

perhaps i should cancel that best of the rest posting....i have a bunch of other things to do anyway. stupid pics not coming out always end up in disaster.

Does anyone know the reason that some teams during spring training games do not wear the batting practice jerseys (like the tigers) while it seems like most of the other teams wear them. It probably just to each teams disgression but i was wondering if anyone knew.
