Ok, take this information for what it is, but if I am right we are in for an amazing treat. There are actually 2 products. One we have seen in patents, the other I am not so sure about. I don't have a name for this product, but I do have a detailed description with a mock render. The first product I think has to do with the poster for WWDC. It is the Golden Gate Bridge split into two and it says, "A Land Mark Event. In more ways than One" what I am about to tell you could explain this. Apple is going to release a special iMac that has a slot in the side of it to house the new Tablet Device. This tablet device will run on the new Atom processor and be about 5-10% larger than the current iPhone. It will also have a Glass lid that is used for two functions. One is to protect the screen and the other is to display "Widget type of Information" Both screens will have touch sensitivity. (Like Nintendo DS). The reason why I think it pertains to the poster is, you have two devices acting as one unit (hence the bridge starting at one location, but splitting out into two). The smaller unit acts more like a satellite to the larger one. That's not all. The keyboard for this new iMac will have a completely "digital keyboard" that can change out depending on the function. I will attach the picture to this thread, but if doesn't work, I will be sure to supply a link.

The other device is call the iRing, which apprently is used to control your Bluetooth devices with a ring that you wear on your finger. I know it sounds far fetched, but it's out there. Apparently is used to answer calls and control your music. Again, I will attach an image. I really don't know anymore on that product.

Anyway Take it for what it is. I hope that my sources were right.

Nice little story, but there is no chance at all of that ever happening. Come on, the iRing? Are you kidding me?

The person that gave me this information is not technical in the least, yet they were able to describe these devices to me in great detail. Again. Take it or leave it. These products may have been for a future Apple release, but according to my source they were working products. There was also mention of a "Surface" type of table, but Microsoft already beat Apple to the punch on that one, so I figured it wasn't news worthy.

A new iMac, just in time to replace the one that were upgraded and released on April 28, 2008!

And a new device that is clunkier, uglier and less convenient than the remote they are already making! (As if the blue lighted Apple logo wasn't enough to call it out as no-way-José.)

Thanks for creating an account and playing along. Bye bye now.

The answer to your "split bridge" puzzle is right under your nose. See the picture of the mac and iphone right under the bridge? WWDC was always focused on the Mac, but now that the iphone has emerged as a second platform, there are now 2 ways to go for mac developers. That is what the picture signifies... nothing more.

Bingo!

The two bridges are symbolic of the new duel nature of OS X. OS X Leopard on the desktop and notebooks, and OS X mobile on the iPhone and Touch. With the final release of the iPhone SDK at the event developers will have two parallel but different platforms.

Part of the show will probably be a quick look at what Apple is next planning to include in OS X 10.6 and the mobile 3.0 platform.

Oh... and some time around them the 3G iPhone will be introduced.

While Apple may have a host of other things in the wings, just covering the sales figures, the SDK, Ap Store, the next step in Apple's plans, and some bod from MicroSoft on stage to lie about how they are continuing to support the Mac platform will more than take up the SteveNote.

The Nation's Fartland
1) Touchscreen iMac- Premium device. 4k at least. probably a 23 inch screen, with some serious horsepower behind it. I'd guess it wouldn't even be called an iMac, well, maybe the "iMac Touch" or something like that. All iLife programs would have built in support, and the "Touch" sdk would be released at the conference.

2) Car Kiosk thingy- its been in the rumor mill for awhile now that apple has been talking with various car companies to make a sleek iPhone/Pod interface. With microsoft mucking about with "sync", its time apple steps in and show'em how its done. Premium option on Lexus or BMW and the like.

3) Fart detector/cloaking device- the time is right, we have the technology, the world is ready. Possible add on to the iPhone via bluetooth, but a standalone device would be available too. Immediately able to identify the culprit with 15 feet and 2 min of expulsion. Cloaking features would hide user's flatulence from those around him (would be a limited market, girls dont fart)

This thread starter is a real ass in hole
and to his post?
who the hell would buy an iRing, it would look just a tad stupid walking down the street with your finger up next to your ear and talking to it, like wtf?
and for that imac, ITS UGLY
apple would never release somthing uglier than Barbara strisan.
The tablet is maby the only logical idea.

Hey MattyK, how do you know I am an "Ass in hole"? Bunch of haters. By the way,... The... image... is... a... quick... render... of... what... was... described..., not... an... actual ...product...instead of doodling on a napkin? Get it? Am I going too fast for you? Take it or leave it. I just thought I should share.

Thanks.:p

The bridges refer to the two platforms, OS X and iPhone OS.
