Does it really matter if there is a mirror that flips up before taking a picture? I think not. I switched to the Canon M5 as of late last year and I am pretty happy with it. There will always be a lot of people who see advantages in camera systems to which one can attach different type of lenses in addition to carrying a camera as part of the phone. I think the market for entry level cameras will further decline but on the medium to high end will always be dedicated photographers who understand the benefits.
