Please come back..
Current MBP look like a clunky windows laptop Mac users would make fun of in 2008, and current MBA have a larger footprint (and less sleek looking) than a 2015 MBP. I despise Tim Cook.
They are trying to make the Pro slimmer on the next design with the OLED panels. Let's wait and see, I also dislike the current body ratio and weight to the 14"

yeah
some people fail to realize that aesthetics can make functionality hellish, and theres a reason apple went back to a thicker design
That doesn't go against my point, my point is that Apple was once magic. They somehow had form that absolutely blew you away in comparison to their competition and functioned better too. Since firing Jony Ive they're all about function over form and are making a lot of sacrifices, which is very un-apple. I'm not insulting their current function, Apple silicon is one of the greatest advancements in computing in a long time. I love what they're doing when it comes to function, but they have completely disregarded form and are making some of the ugliest computers they've ever made.

I think they look pretty good, and their iPads are great.

Apple's biggest design failures were also in the Jony Ive era. There was the touchbar MBP, which was all about form over function. Whoever designed it clearly forgot that it is the designer's responsibility to find a good balance between aesthetic values, engineering concerns, and user needs. There were Intel iMacs, which gave Apple a reputation as a maker of particularly noisy consumer desktops. There were power cables that frayed, because the designer chose to ignore the best practices. And someone managed to design a mouse that cannot be used while it's being charged.

IDK why people point fingers at the Mac design while their iPads are some of the best

Oh, because the iPad is horrible at emulating laptop functionality but the thin laptop is sometimes a space heater and the only one with a fan is chunky....

Tell me this is a joke (the bolded part)
The Mac Pro (2013) was a thermal and expansion failure
The iPhone 6 Plus, while bendgate was slightly overstated, still had that major issue
The thin MacBooks (12 in, 2015-2017/19) were extremely underpowered and the port situation was horrible, plus how would you type on that "keyboard"
The MacBook Pros (2016-2018/19/20???) also had thermal issues, had less than the needed amount of ports, and that "keyboard"...
(I didn't include the iPads bending because they have always had that issue and still have)
Tell me, did they function better?

1.
I have had the 12 inch since 2016 when I found a discount on it brand new. And I have to say, it is very convenient, so convenient in fact that because of how light it was for it's size, my iPhone feels heavier now. However, I wish I never tried that webcam, because it was 480potato quality, really bad. Also the performance.
No issues with the keyboard.
2. I wonder if, for price reasons, they will make it only 12GB (RAM), as it technically meets the min spec. for Apple Intelligence.

Maybe, if they want to price it cheaply

OK Apple, now bring some of that mac mini love over to a standard-keyboard-width, 11-13" display, ultra thin and ultra light laptop.
Apple are not capable to make small light laptops today. Unfortunately Jony Ive who was a master on designing the small and lighter laptops, don't work on Apple anymore.
Comparing to the laptops he could design, todays are heavy.
I know and have had several laptops of his design and feel and suffer the difference - today's 13,6" MBA is HEAVY comparing to earlier laptops during Ive. 😥
