Smell the headphone port on an iPod, and even after a few years, it still smells like a new iPod. This goes the same for any of the ports on my Powerbook. I love new Mac smell:)

People that like that smell probably like to sniff sharpies. Am I right?

I'm guilty.

The smell of fresh office supplies, new carpet, yeah I know.

Ohh don't even get me started. I love the new Apple smell. Both of my Macs have lost it now, but my iPod still has it very strong in its dock port. I must look like some kind of freak sniffing the back end of my iPod.  :D

Yea, the smell of a new computer. when I was younger I only had that experience about 3-4 times. Then I did some work experience in a computer shop; BAM! pumping out about 5 computers a day. ever reminded of that beautiful smell. then nothing! my laptops never had that smell. only systems built at Rio Systems (down the road from me) and my PowerBook.

Good smell. the swell of potential.

On a similar note I got my girlfriend to kiss the lid of my PowerBook :D god knows why, good luck perhaps? I'm glad I was there to keep an eye out. come back into the room to find her in bed with it  would that make her a lesbian? My PowerBook is a girl after all

I love the smell of new macs and the packaging too.

This thread here is about how much people enjoy the packaging of their macs and I would be willing to bet that alot of that is due to the new mac smell!

I think I bring this up with my girlfriend everytime that we go to our Apple Store across the street, and trust me, that's a lot! She thinks I'm a loser. I think she's a loser. It's a win-win situation.

Omg whoa that's true! Just smelt one of my PowerBook's ports and it's just like the whole thing smelt in the summer. Too bad that was when I first got a problem with my stomach and was in agonising pain then, so it reminds me of that.
