I have NO idea how that bus got there... Does anyone know?

I don't see a bus... I see a private jet. It's there because it was flying over as the satellite passed overhead?

[Edit]: oh wow now i see the bus... haha... it looks like it's about to fall off the building! weird. i wonder how it got there. =D

That's the St. Louis City Museum. The two airplanes are also part of the museum's attractions. You can see the school bus in one of the pics on that link.

I doubt that's the case here Chundles, those circles are in the same plane on differing terrain. I reckon it's some of those secret sites that get blacked out by the government. Why exactly are you so keen to steer us away from the truth?

i hear the x-files theme song chiming in...

damn i loved that show.

For those of you who like the odd things in Google Earth and haven't stumbled across the following site, have a good trawl through Google Sightseeing where they post random images from all around the world.

It started initially with various landmarks but now also includes things like the 'flying cars' above, places where you can see the sticky tape where the maps were glued together and places where you can see the shadow of a plane several times as the various images get joined together.

I went there this summer and it was really cool! except i broke my camera crawling through the place. :( it's more like the worlds craziest playplace than a museum.

^^ exactly. That leer jet appears to be way too low.

That leer jet is rigged on a frame, poised high above the ground below. It's on display at the St. Louis City Museum, as explained above.

It's not the one listed in post 29 of this thread? You don't have to go looking for it again - the flying cars, model terrains, black helicopters are all news stories on the Register, Google Sightseeing and the other Google Earth community sites when the first person finds them

Found these while perusing the Nevada desert.. they seem (from my uneducated guess) to be nuclear test detonation craters. But you be the judge.

Ah. Google Earth. So cool. So out of date.

Oh.. Duke University Medical Center, 4 buildings:

Hanes Annex, Pickens Family Medicine, Trent Hall, and Hanes House.. they spell out a word. :)

Umm, yellow, are you aware that you just reposted the nuclear test site's KML with a new name? Takes us to the same place with the same tag.
