On a separate note, does anyone know if you need to activate on line ordered, or can i use a sim from one of the other lines on my acct.

You can call them and they can put the phone on whatever number you need it to be on before you do anything with the device. That’s what I did last year.
 
256gb Silver. Payment processed, but declined by Chase. Approved via text then I called the internet order department at 866-338-7390 and had them re-process the charge. Agent said I'm still on track for an 11/3 delivery.

Anyone getting their payment declined by their bank's fraud protection should give that number a call. They are able to redo the charge and push the order along with no problems.

My order confirmation was 12:43 am after fighting the app and website for 30 something minutes (which hardly ever happens ordering through Verizon since iPhone 5 for me). Surprised me how many orders were smooth after my experience this year. Anyway I was charged last night and received a shipping email at 10:03 this morning. It’s sitting in Memphis. 2 64gb Silver’s same order.

Might be a dumb question but how did you find out Chase declined the charge? I haven’t gotten any emails or texts from Chase, but I do see a weird $0.01 “ATM Credit” on my account with a bunch of random numbers after it. Could that have been a declined charge?
 
I saw somewhere in the thread and now I can't find it, the dimension of the box it may/will come in. I wonder if I can crack my garage door enough for the box to fit in, and ask the FedEx drive to slide it into the garage if I decide to leave a note instructing the driver to leave the package in a safe area (inside the garage).
 
11/3 ship date. Confirmation email received at 12:28am. Pending on the app and processing on the VZW website. No charge to my card and no tracking number. Started to get frustrated as I will need to change the shipping address once I do get the tracking number. GRRRR
 
I am getting my iPhone X via the annual iPhone upgrade program through Verizon. It’s the one where you have to pay off at least half of your previous iPhone to be eligible.

I gotten notification that my X has shipped via FedEx but I am not sure what I need to do with my old iPhone once I get my iPhone X. In previous years Verizon has sent me a box to put the old phone in however that hasn’t happened yet this year. Does anyone have any insight?

I replied YES and it said "Thanks. Transaction not completed. Have the merchant reprocess the transaction" Then I called Verizon.

The declined charge did not show up anywhere on my account. Only after the Verizon agent redid the charge is when it showed up on my Chase.com account.

I’m on the same plan. Verizon will send it to you eventually. All you will need to do is disable Find My iPhone on your old iPhone, erase it, and turn it off. Then just put it in the return kit whenever you get it. Your X should activate whenever you turn it on and set it up.

Still waiting on both the charges to to hit my account and shipping info. Pre-ordered at 3:15 am - said ship date is 11/3... And still crickets..

I was late to the ordering party. Ordered around 9:45 a.m. local time and got the 12/1 ship date. My order currently says Pending. I'm hoping by some miracle I'll get it a few weeks early.

I ordered the space gray 256gb at 745am est/445am pacific time and have a date of 12/6. My order on the site says processing..

I ordered the 256 gb silver at 9:45 CT (7:45 a.m. PT) and have a date of 12/1. Still shows processing on the website although on the verizon app it says Pending.

Mine finally went from pending to processing! Yay! Hoping for shipped tonight or tomorrow.

It should come with a sim in it already. Just turn on the phone and the new sim should activate with your number
Thats the problem, I dont want to activate that SiM because that line is used by my DAd and his current sim will deactivate and I wont see him before Sunday to give him the new one. I wanted to activate phone on arrival Friday
