I have to make one more device

I have $36 left to reach 50% to upgrade early so my bill auto pays on Sept.13. Hopefully after my bill is paid, I only have a few bucks left to pay to upgrade then I can pre-order on Friday. iPhone Edition, here I come.

I believe you can pay the $36.00 early if you want. That's what I did to avoid any issues with to preorder.

I mean it shouldn't be a problem. Last year when I pre-ordered the 7 Plus. I have to play $65 to upgrade early, I did that & checked out the 7 Plus with the $65 at the same time with no problem. I also got my iPhone the same day it was released to the public.

The only reason I made that suggestion, is that's really close to the pre-order date. I paid mine early and their website/mobile application would not allow me to go past a certain point when I was testing the preorder process because it was "Updating", even though it says that I am eligible to pre-order. I called customer service and they did say that I was eligible for upgrade, but their system takes Time to upgrade apparently. I did that to avoid any issues come pre-order time.

Oh smart. So how do I go about paying the $36?

I might go with the 7s Plus. Im more excited for the watch, next year Ill go bigger I have big hands and I find my S8+ is too small.

IF I upgrade I am going to try to preorder first thing for the first time :) oh and through the app or website

I spoke to a Verizon phone rep recently about transferring my currently eligible upgrade with my 6+ but the lady told me if I was at all interested in the soon-to-be-released iPhone, that I should wait until it's released. If VZW does what they did last year, they should offer me a 100% monthly credit for the new phone if I trade in my existing phone.

I'll wait and see what they offer at this point. I certainly won't be doing anything as far as ordering a phone at midnight !

Not sure if I will preordering the 8X... gonna wait for the Keynote to decide

Leaning more towards no but hoping the Keynote sways me
[doublepost=1505096230][/doublepost]Anyone done call over the phone AND go in the morning to preorder?

Have called Verizon at midnight for the last 2 years.

Have thought about going in the morning to preorder cus they always through in free stuff (like a speaker or something) but don't wonna risk waiting longer for my phone

Can you tell me about your experience about calling Verizon at midnight to place your order? I also considered this as an option, which Verizon has recommended to me because they stated their website may have an overload with amount of people.

I'm a bit on the fence right now if I am going to be getting the new iPhone X. Currently I have a 7 Plus that I am quite happy with, I've had it since launch last year. I am hoping that the Keynote will sway me...

iPhone 6s: this was the first time I preordered an iPhone. My mom had told me Verizon is doing this now cus she spoke with a rep about laying a bill and they mentioned it to her for whatever reason

Anyways, called right at midnight and waiting on the line for about an hour and a half. Finally got a rep, asked what size color and GB I wanted, gave them our CC and shipment info and got it via FedEx day of release (had to sign for it)

iPhone 7: called at midnight and got a rep within a couple minutes (was shocked how fast this was compared to the 6s). Got the 256GB 7 in jetblack. Had to wait to get it shipped a week after launch unfortunately but still went flawless and wasn't all that difficult

Overall it's easy to do and would reccomend it compared to doing it other ways

Hi I'm new to preordering this year. Last year I got the 7 plus a few weeks after launch in a store. This year I'm going to early upgrade through the app. But not sure if the app is the best way to do it.
