Is anyone else having any problems with apps not loading on the iPhone XS? I check The Weather Channel app pretty regularly. But on my iPhone XS it won’t load, just gets stuck on the splash screen with a spinning wheel of death. Meanwhile, the same app opens on my iPhone X instantly, no problems at all.

I deleted and reinstalled the app, and that seemed to work for a bit. But now it’s back to not working again, for no apparent reason.

What’s the deal here?

Same issue here. Did the uninstall/install route and it opened once with no issues. Now it’s stuck again. iPhone Xs. TBH, I believe it happened once on my iPhone X right before setting up the Xs also. Hopefully it’ll be addressed sooner than later!

Weather Channel app works fine for me on new Max. I checked it a few times over the weekend no problems.

What carrier are you on? App not working on both cellular and wifi?
Verizon, but I don’t see how that would matter. I’m on WiFi at home, and it opens immediately on my X, while the XS remains on the startup screen.

I uninstalled and reinstalled yet again, and now it works. But just like this afternoon, I’m sure it will stop working again. Having to reinstall the app every time I want to use it is just ridiculous.

Anyone else hate the new update to this Weather channel App? It was much better before. Info is all over the place and super white screens.

Weather underground opens and works but won't let me sign in. I poo aid for subscription in March. Seems to be a known issue for Max users from my research.

I have had intermittent issues with the Weather Channel App even before I upgraded to the Max. I think they likely have crappy programmers. Nonetheless, it wasn't working on my Max, but for some reason it is now.

I paid 5 bucks for the advert free 'The Weather Channel' app a while ago and they finally broke it with the X/XS.

There were some app issues back when T-Mobile switched to ipv6 only, wasn’t sure if this one might be another casualty that just took a while to surface.

I sure wish TWC hasn’t bought and ruined the storm app, never had any issues with it previously, and it was much more informative.

Well now it’s not even working in my iPhone X. It was just working a few hours ago too. I’m getting storm notifications but the app won’t open.

Maybe it’s an iOS 12 issue rather than a phone-specific issue... hmm.

Weather Channel is working for me.
Did you purchase the in-app ad removal? I did, and I wonder if that is what could be causing an issue, having it on two phones. Might even explain why it always works immediately after reinstalling, too. Maybe I’ll uninstall on both, then reinstall, but only restore purchases on one phone, and see if that helps.

I purchased. It does take several seconds to load before showing actual weather.
