Other The Weather Channel app working on iPhone X but not iPhone XS? Any others?

Weather underground opens and works but won't let me sign in. I poo aid for subscription in March. Seems to be a known issue for Max users from my research.

Did you purchase the in-app ad removal? I did, and I wonder if that is what could be causing an issue, having it on two phones. Might even explain why it always works immediately after reinstalling, too. Maybe I’ll uninstall on both, then reinstall, but only restore purchases on one phone, and see if that helps.

The app wont open on my XS after I restore the in-app purchase. It is definitely related.

I think the latest version release of this app is just buggy. I've had the splash screen as well on iPhone 7 Plus after updating a week or so ago.

Is anyone else having any problems with apps not loading on the iPhone XS? I check The Weather Channel app pretty regularly. But on my iPhone XS it won’t load, just gets stuck on the splash screen with a spinning wheel of death. Meanwhile, the same app opens on my iPhone X instantly, no problems at all.

I deleted and reinstalled the app, and that seemed to work for a bit. But now it’s back to not working again, for no apparent reason.

What’s the deal here?

I’m having the very same problem with XR and the Weather Channel app. Won’t load. Just spins. Tried the uninstall install way too many times. Don’t help.

Did you pay to remove ads? If so delete the app and reinstall but do not restore purchases. That will fix your problem (albeit you will now have ads)

I did that a couple weeks ago and haven’t had a single problem since. I’ve contacted them multiple times regarding this issue, as well as a refund, with zero response yet.

Restored purchases today after receiving an update, and surprise surprise... still broken.

Weather channel has been garbage for awhile! I opted to delete it and I am done with them! Too many other good options to deal with there ongoing inability to make a stable app.

Same issue here. Did the uninstall/install route and it opened once with no issues. Now it’s stuck again. iPhone Xs. TBH, I believe it happened once on my iPhone X right before setting up the Xs also. Hopefully it’ll be addressed sooner than later!

I have the same problem. Accuweather, Weather app are not working on the phone, XS Max, or now on my watch. I can't download Dark Sky either. Is there a way to fix it or do I have to get a new phone?

What happens when you try to download Dark Sky? It doesn’t download at all? I’m using Carrot Weather now which uses Dark Sky as an optional source, and I have no issues.
