It could be that some of these companies are taking advantage of our ability to buy apps early by jockeying for position on the top apps list before the real deluge of downloads tomorrow. If so, then there might be more than a few more deals to be had before tomorrow morning.

Maybe this thread should be renamed to "iPad apps that are now free (for a limited time)". The iPad app store seems to be a very fluid marketplace right now. I've purchased a couple of apps, but I'll wait to buy any more until the prices shake out.
