I thought the finger prints on the black was bad. I feel blessed suddenly.

yes. on the one hand cosmetic issues don't really bother me. They at least don't bother me enough to leave my MB in a stranger's hands for more than a day!

I had mine replaced about February I think, when I took my MacBook into see if they would replace the top cover because a piece had fallen off!

He noted that it was dirty on the wrist area, and said it was the discolouration. So I lost my laptop for a weekend, got it back all shiney and new.

It's happening again, I think it's just the fact that I never cleaned it, ever. I'll just get some iClean next time in the Apple shop.

I got my stains removed, and i asked about what was replaced and they said ONLY the wrist area, they said they bezel cant be replaced, and the trackpad wouldnt be replaced.. so all i had replaced was the wrist area...
I really wanted the bezel and the trackpad replaced but they said they wouldnt stain so apple doesnt let them replace them...

i think my trackpad looks a bit yellow now...

I called 4 different places. They all said it would take much longer than a few days, likely over a week. None would let me keep the laptop during that time and that is too long for me without it:rolleyes:

So the stains on the newer plastic do come off but just not on the old ones?
