For these I guess it's in a package file. Here's where it describes how to unpack and pack that and what's up.

/System/Library/Frameworks/MediaPlayer.framework

:D I usually just take a file name out of what I'm looking for and google it. This may be a good resource, for 2G I think but still close. For example it says MobileMoviePlayer.framework but it's really in MediaPlayer.framework. Not too hard to tell the difference. :D

There is no wallpaper file. That's why you can't do it manually.

Yea, that makes sense, but Winterboard doesn't just magically change the whole OS. It injects code (or files) into the given system dynamically. My guess now is that there is modification of some file to tell springboard to load an image from a specified location. But... I don't know.

wow thanks vivid you helped out alot.

No problem. :D

A good tool for doing this type of modding is iFile by the way. In case you don't already have it. I can just take themes and download them with Safari Download plugin and then browse in there with iFile, extract Zips, Copy all the images in the folder, Paste them where I want them and rename files all without my computer. I did all my LockScreen modding (Lockinfo -Winterboard) with that and MobileTerminal (To install the lockinfo*.deb without dependencies)

Another reason it requires WB (don't knwo about BossPaper) is that just replacing the themes Wallpaper file doesn't automatically update SB, you have to respring which makes WB update the display.
