So if for some reason I need to stop spending the monthly fee, I lose access to my apps. And if I only bought 2-3 apps in 6 months, I'm paying to keep using these apps.

So my $ spent over time would be more than the app is worth.

Then it goes away if I find I need to cut out that monthly payment. So I've payed many times what the apps were worth in today's world only to lose access to them.

Not a very consumer friendly business model.
