im sure there are people out there who just dont get it and would rather pay someone to do it for them than figure it out themselves, its kinda sad but there are people that technology challenged out there :(
I agree whole heartedly. To me upgrading ram is a simple task but to some it is akin to rocket science. That is why best buy and compusa can charge $39-$59 for what basically comes down to 5 minutes worth of work. The sad thing is that some people think it is a good deal..

I was told that if you buy a hardware from them they will install it for free... i bought a CD burner for PC back in the day; and i couldn't install it because i didn't have enough IDE cables or something so i brought it down and when i asked how much they said nuthing because i bought it from the store. All they did was disconnect the original CD rom drive and made the master

What...

What if you don't have a computer or don't have the internet? Many people may not be able to afford a computer or internet, but they may be able to purchase an ipod. The market is probably small for this, but I'm sure its there.

You have to be kidding....
Seriously, if someone has neither the computer nor the internet, whatever advice you give them...be sure to include "instead of buying an extravagant item like an iPod, SAVE UP TO BUY A COMPUTER"

Really, what were you looking for? I found everything I was looking for, and not all Britney Spears I might add. :)

Shellac, Rapeman, Dozer and a lot of other stoner rock stuff.

... or who know very little about music, might want this.

Would people who know very little about music really be interested in this?
How would they choose what was put on there?

i guess the pop package... ;) :D

My PowerBook came preloaded with a few hundred songs from Apple. I remember that there was all kinds of music on it. It even had the first 3 chapters of one of the Harry Potter books. I lost all of it when my HD died a few years ago due to my hot head brother who lost at some stupid computer game and started to beat on the palm rests and trackpad. He hasn't touched my laptop since. So did everyone get this music or was I just lucky? I got it in about mid 2001.

They choose one of the packages - parents buying a gift for little Johnny. Or people who have no idea who to rip cds. The list is bigger than you might think ;)
