Why not those battery opp LED candles? I soldered eight of them up to a wall wart for the same candle holder my Aunt has.

Because then i'd have to turn on 6 of those, instead of lighting 6 candles..

Do they come with a remote? That might be more my speed, haha

I'm lazy about the most trivial things. I'll wake up in the morning and run 5 miles, but I will hold in a tinkle til the very last second, because I don't feel like getting up

Bought it for my ex wife, now she's gone and I'm stuck paying for it. It's slow as hell, and it looks like a car Martha Stewart would buy. I despise it. :)

Its an amazing car and so many people would love to have it. I think we are past the days where cars can make you look cool, or badass, or manly or whatever. If anything, that car would make you look cooler than anything else.

Slow? Yeah of course but whats the point? It goes the speed limit and Im sure well over it.

First off, if many people would like to own my car please give them my phone number and tell them to bring cash. Second, I am a car enthusiast. I have owned Porsche 911s, Classic Pontiac GTOs, many 300+ horsepower Honda Civics, Trucks, you name it I've either driven it, crashed it, or rode in it. I love racing and I hate slow cars that look like something grandma takes to get groceries.

How would a Honda Civic Hybrid make a guy look cool? The point is some people like to go fast, like Ricky Bobby. ;)

You, my good Sir or Madam, are crazy.

There's been a few games I've mostly just played on launch day and then forgot. I always tell myself "Filipe, you're not a hardcore gamer anymore, just rent the damn things for a seventh of the price" but nope, I keep telling myself to buy them outright.

I've been a bit better with it though, mostly buying cheap games for when I do want something to play. Unreal Tournament 3, Dynasty Warriors Gundam Wing and Lair for 5 bucks each. 15 bucks for 3 fun games, or 60-70 for one? I'll take the 3.

Oh, and I usually regret buying food. It's not needed, adds on weight (not that I'm big or anything), not healthy and a waste when I can bring a much healthier lunch.

The Dell Axim: Useless, use it as a remote for my TV now :(
Dell Mini: Slow!
HTC Touch: Also useless.
E740: Bought it because I thought listening to music anywhere in my house via wifi was the coolest thing ever at the time.

I have an Acer Aspire one and the quality just isn't there. I guess you can't expect much when you spend $350 on a netbook.

I just dont think you can expect much when coming from apple products ha.

Motorola Q.

It was slow, would lockup quite often, missing features that were found in non-smartphones, and had pathetic battery life. Also had the worst camera of any phone I've ever had previously.

Windows Vista. With all it's crashes, slowness and incompatibility with most of my programs, it was the final straw for me after 16 years of using every version of Windows (from 3.1 to Vista; including two years with ME), which led to my defection to the Mac Camp. On the bright side, I only paid $40 for Vista Ultimate from a no-reserve auction at the place I was working at the time.

Another regret as purchasing my Acer Aspire One netbook.

There wasn't anything wrong with the computer itself, but it wasn't powerful enough for my needs. Battery life was also very bad, and I found that I actually did need that CD Drive more than I thought too. I thought it would have been sufficient for my needs when I bought it, but soon found it to be too slow to really do anything with it (such as watching movies or videos online). I eventually sold it at a loss too :(

Bose Accoustimass 5 Series II speakers. Bought them 10 years ago and was quite happy with 'em for a long time during which I didn't know any better. About a year ago, I finally replaced them.

Now that I know what real speakers sound like, I could never go back to these.

Which reminds me, that I still need to sell them...

Stupid piece of crap never did shoot straight. $25 down the drain. (back in the late '90's)

Blackberry Pearl 8220 is a junk. Slow and flimsy hardware... The Blackberry Storm didn't impress me either. I hear the Storm 2 is an improvement over the original.

However, Blackberry Bold 9700 which I currently use has been an absolute delight.

What did you end up getting? Pm with details if you want.

Thanks!

Sorry - hadn't checked up on this thread. I got some speakers from a relatively small German manufacturer. They are moderately large 'bookshelf' speakers, so of course they take up a lot more space than the Bose ones (excluding the Bose 'subwoofer'), especially since I've put them on stands, but I definitely think it's worth it.

Should have stuck with my iMac rather than going for something portable (work never gets done on this machine, plus the larger screen was nicer)

And texting on the iphone is horrible. My next phone when this contract runs out will be a 3310. BUTTONS!! Oh how I miss them...

I completely agree, I just purchased the Droid Incredible and went back to my old Blackberry because texting sucked.
