That's why they are on the "things you want" thread :D for now Im ok wit my Squier P-Bass but I do need better (read: louder) amplification, drummer's too loud :p

Victor

There are plenty of reasonably priced bass amps that can make even your Squier/Fender P-Bass blast over his drums. In the punk band I was in for 3 years, the bassist used a Fender P-Bass and a cheap Rogue bass, but his 250 watt GK with 15" inch speaker cabinet (under $500 dollars used) drowned out my vocals, the guitarist with his 100 watt all tube Marshall half stack and Joe Satriani Ibanez with EMG 81s, and our drummer with his 6 piece Pearl drumset. We had to keep on telling him to turn down, and his basses only had passive pickups.

The only desktop Mac I have is an Intel iMac Core Duo which I recall was the first intel iMac Apple produced.

Recently I have found myself wanting one of these...

20" iMac.

More screen space is always better, not to mention the 24" screens are, better, and HD. Also its not like you can upgrade the screen later on. If your gonna get it, get the best first time, rather than get a 20" then a year later decide you want 24".

Texas, unfortunately.
Fair enough I suppose, you're entitled to your opinion after all.;)

I guess that makes sense. I suppose I always assumed most designers would just get a Mac Pro or something, since I see most people complain about the "low quality" of the iMac's screen.

I've compared the 20" to the 24" many times, and the 24" just doesn't look right to me. I've always liked smaller things compared to bigger things in most cases (bank accounts are another matter) which is why I still think Apple needs a 12" notebook in their lineup, and why I prefer the 20" I guess.

a nice, sturdy furniture set.. all this ikea stuff is so wobbly and im getting sick of it.. my parents said my graduation present would be a really nice set since i will probably be moving to a couple different apartments, and furniture will need to be sturdy. only three more years :) (of course not this set... i couldnt even see spending $6000 on your master bedroom.)
