HP Mini 1000

Since I can't afford the MacBook Air,
I am planning on getting this in the near future.
Its soo small!
Hopefully by the time I get it, there will be a 6 cell battery!

In the order they're mentioned. However, it's only the lenses tht I want. The grip would just be neat to get, kind of.

I guess I'll shop heaps of furniture this summer, however, as I am moving.

The 100mm macro is one awesome lens! It's tied in first place with my 50mm f1.4. It's very sharp, even wide open. If you have any questions regarding this lens, feel free to ask. :)

The 10-22mm s definitely a lens I'd love to get. I'm currently debating between getting that one, the mpe 65mm 1x-5x or something in the 17-80mm range (probably for my graduation present, in October).

I'd love to get the grip as well. I actually ordered one, but customs "lost" it (along with two 1 Tb disks), so now I have to wait 2-3 months for the insurance company to pay so I can order it again.

Yeah, that's what I've heard too. I am a lover of primes, and I wanted to keep going with that as far as possible (money-wise). I'd love to get a 14mm prime instead of the 10-22, but the prize does not make justice for me. The thing I'm most concerned with is whether or not to actually get the hood. I do understand for what hoods are usable, and I use them for my other lenses, but the 100's hood is huge, costs much and I'm wondering if it really makes any differens, but the protection if it falls?

I'd love to get both the wide and the macro at the same time, sadly my economy won't allow that, so I decided to get the 100 first as the longest I have right now is 50, whilst the shortest is 30.

I'm sorry about that lost order, it's a bummer. I've actually never experienced such things, even though I bought my 50D from a company which two weeks later decided to start scamming each and every customer. I feel pretty darn lucky.

I've come into a grand so I am considering a netbook. I am not getting a macbook because I haven't ever used macs and I don't want to have to learn about it right now. I just want my documents on the go- google docs and gmail and picassa and it must be LIGHT so I can take it to class every day.

HP Mini looks good, though I'll prob wait around for the new model HP mini 2140 with Windows 7!

I also want to get a wireless card for my camera. And a memory usb dongle about 16gb to load movies/music/files on the go for my lap top.

I would but the lack of a physical keyboard turned me away from it.
I need to be able to text without looking during school ;).
