Computers:
  • 8 Core 2.93 GHz Nelaham Mac Pro w/ 4x 30 inch RGB LED monitors, 4x 512 GB SSD's in raid backed up to 2x 4 TB mirrored external HD's
  • 17 inch unibody w/ matte screen, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Verison Express Card EV-DO, 9-18 DC volts and 100-240 AC volt Mag Safe adapter with stronger cable, (only Mac laptop I like since 2007)(Would prefer these specs in the old PBG4 style case though)

Any SUV (once I am 15 in september)(don't care how old just needs to be reliable[I accually like the 80's suburbans]) with:

  • 2 19 inch flip down 1080p LED backlit LCD HDTVs with wireless rechargeable headphones for each of them and over the air TV support
  • Mod Mini (with 4x 512 GB SSDs (2 raided together for 1 TB storage and then mirrored to the other 2), 6 GB RAM and 2.93 GHz Core 2 Quad inside, 4 USB ports, 1 FW800 port, CF and SD slot and slot load light scribe Blue Ray burner in the rear center console [of corse this would be not so mini now:D Also would need a new heatsync and some sort of case preferably built into the car.])
  • Playstation 2 (controller ports and memory card slots in center console below the mini's ports/slots)
  • All hooked to both of the flip down screens (both the mini/PS2 hooked to both screens)
  • An express card slot for the EV-DO card that would connect to a 802.11 N router that would scan for a list of WiFi networks (even hidden SSID ones if you tell it is there) and auto connect to them. (only the ones on the list though. But includes a program that I can put on the mini and my 17 inch MBP to scan for the networks and connect to them. The mini would be connected via gigabit ethernet to the router. The router would connect a VPN to the house if it did not detect our server at our house. It would also connect to the VPN automatically with the card.
  • Solar panels to power all this and 400 amp of batteries separate from the starting battery.
  • A built in Mag Safe adapter for the 17 inch MBP that will charge the battery and a much more durable cable.
  • All running off 12 volt DC without an inverter. (can be done easily for anything with an external PSU. Just get a 12 to the voltage of the device that will provide enough amps for it)
  • 4 110 volt outlets. 600 watt total 1 beside every door (Requires keys in the accessory mode to run but still runs off secondary batteries. Push button to start inverter and it cuts off and has to be turned on every time keys are removed)

Ohhh guns! I would love to have a non-neutered M4 but alas, California laws.

So, with that said, I'll settle for...

I'd like a nice quiet home in a forest where I can be closer to nature and lead a less complicated life.

Something like this: (except perhaps a small cave instead or a bit larger of a den.)

I could list many things (I'm very materialistic) but this would be a nice little wish list.

The following house built in the hill country on Lake Travis outside of Austin, Texas...

To have the name on my office door say "Dr. Ryan Winters, M.D."

I'm getting my Ph.D. in around 16 days. Ok, it's in exactly 16 days!

I can't wait. For now, it's something I want, but don't have.

Also, I want this after I get my first real job: a 17" MBP with a matte screen

product-front-17.jpg

I'd settle for a 15" MBP, but the refurb 17" MBP costs as much as a new 15" MBP, with essentially all the same specs.

I want a ton of things but I'm gonna be somewhat realistic here:

New IKEA furniture for my room (way too much to list but it would be around $800 USD)
iPhone 3G 32GB $2000
13" MBP 2.53GHz (you all should know the price on this ;)
mStand $50
Apple Wired Keyboard $50
Logitech MX Revolution $80
whatever the size is LED cinema display $800

and finally, a priceless item which I'm working towards: more tone.

He wouldn't have his Ph.D., he'd have his M.D.

Up until the age of like 20, I found it really confusing that not all doctors were medical doctors. Surely there could have been another title given to Ph.D. holders!

How about: "Doctors"?
