Lets see, if i only talk about animals this time, wont get so long. Id love to get myself a horse (rather friesian) finally, i started playing with them almost 20 years ago. Then an yorkshire terrier, those tiny ones, so cute and a horse tattoo, or just a head with long mane. Maybe someday...

Cool...a thread where I get to be materialistic and not feel bad about it :)

Here's some random stuff I'd love to have:

Nice list.

Photo: after the Canon 70-200mm IS USM (I have the f/2.8 version), the next big lens you'll want on the list is the 400mm f/4 DO IS. Plus of course, a nice new body, such as the 7D or the 5Dmk2. I won't likely be getting the DO IS anytime soon, but I will probably get the 7D, as I'm building up a new UW cmaera system.

Auto: an Audi RS4 Avant would be a nice 'daily driver', but I'd be content with merely having a newer Porsche 911. My current one is a venerable 1985, which is now ready for 'QQ' plates...

Computers: new stuff for at home is on the 'to do' list. Not sure how far out. I just got a new Mac Pro (Quad) & MacBook Pro 15" for the office, which will irritates my home use of an old G5 PowerMac and G4 Powerbook and probably make this happen in 2010.

Mobilia: an iPhone would be nice, but I also have a Blackberry through work, and its hard to justify another cell phone & another phone#. I think that an iPod Touch will suffice.

Property: glad to see some people thinking big. A nice waterfront place on a small tropical island with good scuba diving in a stable & crime-free country is the ticket...if the "Pizza Hut" house on Little Cayman is still for sale, this isn't quite perfect (the original Wakatobi would be)...but its a lot closer to home, so it would suffice.

Transportation#2: a nice private jet and the skills/license to fly it would be nice, so as to get to the aformentioned property on the weekends :D

Other: in a single word, 'travel'. At least a month exploring Australia, another month for New Zealand, a month exploring Antartica and a year of scuba diving in the south Pacific ... would be a good start.

OC Baby!
Add me to the list of people wanting wanting an unlocked iPhone 3GS. I'm on T-Mobile, love the service - but can't stomach paying $600 on eBay.

If anyone knows a cheaper way - PM me.

I hate Rolex watches. In my opinion most of them lokk like those cheap watches you can get at any supermarket. My current favourite would be this one:

I sense a broken image link!

I think when you buy Rolex, you're paying for the quality and of course the brand.

I've owned loads of ~£60 watches (not dodgy ones, but from the Fossil shop in a popular shopping mall), and they've all broken almost as soon as the warranty expired. By contrast, Rolexes can last literally decades!

Still, it's a matter of opinion I guess, but if I was rich enough I'd certainly have Rolex on my wrist!

Problem about Rolex is that they haven't got a good reputation here, they are the watches of wannabe riches, cocaine dealers and pimps here in Germany so I wouldn't recommend to wear one around here;)

I think the point was Rolexes (or is it Roli?) look tacky to many, a bit too bling but without being stylish. If I wanted an expensive watch I'd get an Omega. However, my £300 Seiko has done well over the past 4 years so I'm happy :)

I need a new pair of these

When you get them, please make sure and post pictures!

Currently this is on my wish list, but I just can't justify it, when the 4870s I have are doing an excellent job.

And if ATI brings the 5870 to the Mac Platform, forget the GTX 285, I want one of these bad boys! :
