An upgrade to my aging six-year-old PowerBook.

Aluminium is far cooler than plastic.

Nissan Navara Aventura

I'd prefer a 5D over this supposed 7D.

1Ds Mk.II. I have no need for anything the Mk.III provides.

Mmm, f/2.8 IS...

Firewire Futura swallow tail. Gorgeous board to ride.

Then I could afford everything above! :D

I've recently gotten one out of all mine, and am on my way on acquiring two :)
I have this problem with buying stuff. I do it too much,

X 2 :D I often think I'll go bankrupt someday :p
I had posted the DBS Vanquish and the Nikon D90.
I'm getting the D90 later this year. Till then I'll make good use of my D40+18-55 AF-S+55-200 AF-S VR.
But I can't afford a DBS Vanquish yet.. so I'll settle for a BMW 335i sometime early next year. I drive a 2008 Accord EX-L Coupe now and confused how much of a hit I'll take when I sell it with about 10,000+ miles on its 1st anniversary.

Anyone else who posts a picture of a pickup truck or similar needs their head examining unless it genuinely has a use.

Slow, boring, unsafe crap (IMO of course )

If you have the money to buy a truck, get something that goes round bends!

Yup, I'm currently in negotiations to acquire an aluminium iPhone, the Firewire board will be here by Christmas and the MacBook by next summer.

The car and photo gear is on hold until I have the other three sorted out. As for Facebook, well, that's not going to happen.

Never, ever, underestimate the power of a POS Hyundai Excel - a ~2,000 pound POS with hack modifications.

Cheap, lightweight disposable auto goes more places than many ATVs can only dream of. :D

Try carting round a "portable" lighting set up, two boards (one for me, one for the other half) and four people in a four-door saloon. Sure, it's possible but rather uncomfortable.

sounds like someone needs a roof rack for their boards! Have you ridden a firewire??? I myself want an aviso, they are super light. I've held the firewire in my hands at the same time as the aviso and there is no comparison when it comes to weight. I don't surf enough to spend a grand on a board though but I would like one some day! Right now I'll just live with my 6'3 thruster made by some guy in California!

Well I did say unless there was a use for it! And a few will, but a small minority. I just dislike the whole off road vehicle for general use culture (yes I just made that up!), when the biggest obstacle they might come across is a cat's eye in the middle of the road.

My neighbour has just traded in her mini for a VW Tiguan. She drives to a primary school and back for work :(

Mark.
