It's nice to have big display. It's also nice to have lightweight laptop. Unfortunately one cannot get it all in one package. If you have already bought the 15" MBP you probably prefer big display, otherwise it would've be wiser to buy 13" MB instead. If you still think your laptop does everything you want it to, then just get used to its size and stop thinking about it.

I had a Dell Inspiron 700m (12INCH LAPTOP!) that ways 4.X pounds
and then I bought a new SR MBP 15" this summer at 5 pounds (i forgot the exact weight)

Notable Differences?
Not at all.......

I'm a college student too so I "lug" around the laptop across campus (I got to Purdue University with 38000 people around....and so the campus is huge) and I don't have trouble.


You "got to Purdue University" and you don't know how to spell "weighs"? ;)

Sorry... just a pet peeve of mine when intelligent people (which, being in college hopefully you are one) can't spell.
