Thinking of an Imac 24 but will it be replaced shortly?

Hi, am about to order a 24 imac, 2.4, 2gb ram, 750gb hd coming over from a PC background but was wondering if they will be replaced anytime soon like the next 6 months? Also is it worth upgrading the warranty to 3 yr applecare? Does this include onsite warranty if it breaks?

Only the Macbook and Macbook Pro's are being redesigned currently. If you want an iMac now get one. Otherwise you will wait forever for the "next" one.

I doubt the iMac will be updated this month, more likely July/August time.
