Thinking of buying a Macbook but afraid of Mad Cow Disease...

my story

i have gone through 3 macbooks now. none of them have been too hot or made any noise whatsoever.
my problems have been
the surface peeling,
the screen backlight dieing
and the battery stopping working
im really reaslly really worried my black macbook is going to start to chip flake or peel from what ive read online

I agree. Although i know alot of people are happy with their current MacBook but why buy now when you know something better is coming along very soon?

I never said I was going to buy right now. Well maybe, if there is a refurb available. ($949.00) I figured if I started now, it would be sold before next month.

I could then save a couple of bucks and put it towards whatever is available.

As for the price I feel it is a fair starting point. The machine is only a few months old and has the memory upgrade.

Resoning: Same price as the Apple store refurb model, plus 200.00 for the RAM.


I'll have to start a new post in Marketplace with pics. I have all the boxes and booklets.
