How about some other popular apps, like Tinder (ahem, yup I need this to keep working), and SiriusXM (I need my Howard Stern)... Snapchat? All good for most of you? I have a 5S and am considering trying the beta.
The only app I use out of that list is Twitter and the iPhone version has an annoying issue where the tabs at the bottom sometimes aren't very responsive and require multiple touches before they work.
Yup. Notes is basically added to the share sheet with no option to turn it off.Great information. So Scanner Pro already supports sending PDF's to the new Notes app? That is awesome!
Runs reasonably on my 6. Stutterers here and there. I haven't noticed a dramatic difference in battery life, well it depends on the day I guess.
I haven't switched to the new notes for one reason... I'm concerned I won't be able to access those new notes on iCloud.com so I'd hold off there until the site it updated if you use it regularly.
Twitter is the only one of your apps I used and it performs as normal for me.
Yes, I do the same. I just put my ipad on recovery mode and then restore, and my previous icloud save was there. Smooth downgrade it surprise me how easy it was. For people like me who just want to try ios9, install the beta and after that, just disable icloud save. That way your icloud back up from 8.4 will stay in the cloud and you can test ios 9 like you want and just downgrade from itunes when you want. No need to manualy go download 8.4 elsewhere, itunes download and intall the right version for your device of 8.4 automaticaly when you restore your iOS device.I also did DFU restore to 8.4, then loaded my iCloud backup I made before I went to 9.0
Overcast works fine for most part on my iPhone 5s and ipad mini 2. There is a small bug where if you tap on the exclamation mark on the podcast, the window that shows info about the podcast crashes, but otherwise, it works as before.
Just installed it a while ago, but thanks for the heads up.Overcast issued an update today that fixes this.

So patching apps to make them iOS 9 compatible can be done...maybe not easy, but certainly possible.
That I have to agree. He puts an astonishing amount of effort and detail into a single app which brings in a one-time revenue of $5 with no recurring expenses.Marco Arment is fastidious, so he makes sure things always work even for a beta OS.
I noticed that. ThanksNotes access via iCloud.com is fine. Works just as it did before but now it has a beta tag in the corner. Same as the office suite of apps.
