`Hello!

Thanks in advance for reading/helping.

I'm trying to access my computer in France from Canada in order to perform software updates. Here are some details.

MacPro 5,1 in France - High Sierra
MacBook Air - Canada - Catalina

I've been on the phone with Apple and determined that Apple's remote access using "File Sharing" will not work. They recommended a third party application. I've tried Tailscale but there's not a version that I can find that supports High Sierra. Catalina? Not a problem.

Any advice on the matter would be very much appreciated!

I have used RemotePC for years. remotepc.com Works on legacy systems like Windows 7 and El Capitan although you might not get the "latest" version. Might work on even older systems.

Here it is on my Win7 laptop.
