It exists but I could never own one. iPod Classic is so amazing because of the storage space and the click wheel. Nothing can compare.

Touch screen is better than a click wheel, regardless of how good it was when it first came out. If there was a 128GB iPod touch that should satisfy everyone. I love the genius of the original ipod, but it has just been superseded by future tech. No point using a Walkman back in 2001 when the ipod came out!

But I think MP3 and other "physical" media formats will always be safe. Streaming services are yet to prove a successor. Look at Onlive. It seemed like Steam's death when first announced, then went bankrupt! Nobody knows, but MP3 players are safe IMO! :D

I agree hardly anyone is posting. You can still see threads from November/October on the first page and it is almost January. All the posts are just about someone breaking their iPod (again) and nobody actually talks...which the iPod category had as many people as the iPHone

Not only is it important for a company like Apple to continuously innovate products, but it is also important for the users on the forums to innovate their level of discussion. We can either make the forum interesting or we can complain about it. What was discussed in the past in terms of the iPod may have been great, but now it's time to talk about something else. Whatever that something else may be, is up to the users.

Count me in as one who loves his iPod classic and uses it daily. It's my go-to device in the car and on business trips. I do save some music to my phone, but all 8000 songs wouldn't fit and given I don't like to pay for wifi (unless its for work) on the plane, an iPod fits the bill.

Heck, enough so that I spent nearly $200 refurbishing my old one. Stuck a 128gb SSD in there and replaced the backplate, battery and LCD. Runs like a champ!

Count me in as well. I use my iPod Touch 5th Gen every day. I have an android phone and an android tablet, but when it come to listening to my podcasts, using my blu tooth speaker or traveling in the car, the iPod is always used.
