Yea that's a valid point! Although I think with time the UI will get better because of live tiles and how they can be implemented. Also the LG Nexus looks like a winner! Although I'll be keeping my Galaxy Nexus till it breaks!

----------

I plan on switching back and forth from the iPhone 5 and the Lumia 920. Although I think I will use the Lumia more since that camera looks to be amazing and I am a photo junkie.

I think I may give the lumia a shot just for kicks. BUT I have reaced my AT&T limit on contract reversals lol so I may have to buy it full price and return if I do OR don't like. As you can tell I have a problem lol

I dunno, somewhere in West Texas
Go to windowsphone.com and look through the marketplace and see if you can find replacements for the apps you like. WP8 will have screenshot capability. As far as live tiles and battery life WP should be as good or better than compatible android devices. To me the only clear advantages android has over WP8 are app selection and notifications. App selction will improve as market share grows and I am willing to deal with the notifications since I prefer the rest of the platform.

That makes sense for you but my needs differ. Will WP8 have MHL support like I have with my One X? Can I hook up my ps3 controller and connect it to my HD tv and game like I would on a console? Can I play emulators of any kind? Can I play high end PC games like Darksiders II from my phone via the Onlive app? Can I tweak my phone to get the maximum gaming performance when needed, and then throttle it back to optimal battery efficiency for day to day usage?

Lol I think most of us do that are in this forum! I'm definitely a phone junkie although I normally buy all my phones except for iPhones at full price. A habit I will have to stop soon as it's just getting to be way too expensive.

I am so pumped for my Lumia. I wish I had a solid arrival date from best buy.

I hope developers really embrace this platform. I know that most of the basic apps I use daily are already available, but the 920's specs could allow for some really cool new apps.

My reason for going Lumia 920 all the way:

1280x768 display at 60hz (unlike 24-30hz on most phones so much smoother)
Camera
WP8
2000ma Battery (My Samsung WP7 with a 1500ma battery lasted a good 3-4 days without a charge)
And the design. I just love it!

I agree with you about everything except WP8. It scares me lol

I want a WP8 phone but not the lumia 920: it is too big and I don't care for a super high res camera. I'm looking forward to the 820, 8X, or 8S. Are thr Nokia apps eventually bring made available to non-Nokia phones?
