We should make emails that are exactly the same.
An example (I'll just use mine),

ipod_wii_92(1)@yahoo.com
ipod_wii_92(2)@yahoo.com
ipod_wii_92(3)@yahoo.com
ipod_wii_92(4)@yahoo.com
Ect, ect.
 
Lol I wonder if this guy suspects anything from the sudden mass of emails asking for $10 codes?
 
This feels wrong, but I gave it a shot to see if they'll actually respond. :)

But what if they're actually stealing the money from credit cards to buy the iTunes gift cards as someone mentioned earlier?

I'm not going to use the money i got for awhile. Maybe wait a week or two, see if anything happens. I already removed the CC info from my account, and changed the Address :eek:.

I would not like to get in trouble, but I guess I cant(maybe).
 
Surely it's just best to put your real name and go with the "I was just given a promo code, I didn't know it was fraudulent" line of argument? If you put fake details and Apple look at your IP adress and see your other account - surely they are going to think something is up? Especially if you are connecting the same iPod to the account...
 
I just received a free $10 code. This actually works! :)

But it really doesn't feel right. Should I go ahead and redeem the code?

It turns out you need a US iTunes account to redeem the code, but I don't live in the US. I know there's a way to make a US iTunes account, but wouldn't that violate Apple's terms of service?
 
So has anyone (the richer among us) actually tried buying a code? Is this guy legit?
 
This thread gets nary a peep, but mention a torrent in a thread and everyone gets out their morals stick to beat you with.

Because Apple and the record company aren't loosing anything, the $10 is coming from somewhere.

I don't think anybody used the same email more than once.
And it took about a few hours for my second reply, don't remember the first but it wasn't over an hour.
