PSY is popular because he's making fun of the Korean elite. Similar to what we American's do to the Romneys. At least that's what we talked about in my Honors Anthropology class. :D

Haven't heard the song. Don't care if I do or don't, but certainly not going to click play (how adventurous of me, huh?). I don't think I ever heard his first one in full.

I've somehow managed to wiggle out of contemporary pop culture over the past couple of years, and it has been divine.

Just speaking for myself, of course. :)

People forget he is a comedian, and he is basically making fun of the situation, and poking his tongue out at himself as well..

That being said, the song is listenable (I also speak a little Korean to understand most of the lyrics), but I was disappointed in the accompanying dance. He has not replicated the success, humour and fun of the Gangam Style moves, but here's hoping the next song gets the groove back!

Well, after cannibalism gave rise to sex and, after the female, the male unit evolved to more efficiently spread genetic diversity the male gained, in many cases, greater muscular power.
Hence, with the rise of human capacity to incredibility manipulate
matter/energy, forced the male to make the female as needy as possible before technology rendered the male obsolete.

In time tech will also surpass the female.

It's all part of a GREAT plan, yeah...fur sure ;)
