Do you hapen to know if it had been near any Radon? Ya know...just in case you start developing new "skills" such as the ability to fall for blondes dyed ginger...or gingers dyed blonde?

It's been years that i politely move those bugger barehand (from wherever my mother saw them) and never got bitten...

Nice reply but I would not call falling for a ginger a skill more like a disability.
So no skills but my arm has got all puffy and is very sore. It's effecting my gaming on Vendetta but I will live.

Its funny that people in the UK dont think spiders here will bite. They will do and do it often but usually their fangs are too small to penetrate the skin. However the big bugger house spiders fangs are but luckily the venom is not dangerous to humans, the worst thing that will happen is some redness and a bit of swelling - some way short of a bee sting though.
I've had a big house spider bite me before, more than anything it surprised me until I put it down and looked at its fangs

Doesnt that thing have like 90% of that same DNA as humans? It looks so other worldly.

you are lucky it wasn't a brown recluse spider look up some of those bites and you will see that you are lucky. We have them here in Texas

Heh, I have those too, but I think its the position I have them in. Sometimes they work, sometimes not as it was just the other day I saw a big bugger climbing the wall in my room.
In the computer room, another was on the wall but sadly that little bugger would not let me catch it to put it outside. It was like as if I breathed and the little swine ran for it even though I was like 6 feet from it. Soon as I stop going after it, it stops moving.
Depends on the size of the room and how much furniture there is etc. We had to put two devices in some rooms. We very rarely see a spider now....
