The personal help with the iPad thing makes me hope when I go in to buy mine they won't hassle me and attempt to open up the box to "help" me. I know what I'm doing, dammit, just gimme and charge my credit card and off I go.

Hopefully they'll have different people helping you set it up rather than the sales people.
 
My wife (who is just as diehard of a fan) wants to be there around 8am. I'm thinking around 9am. I have one reserved so I am not worried about getting one.
 
I plan on getting their a little early so I can grab a couple of the accessories. I want a dock and some sort of case.

Hopefully they will have the Genius Bar people helping people get set up on the other side of the store. I live in Florida so every time I go to get support for something I always end up having to wait for a senior citizen who is writing everything down in a notebook. Not just bullet points, they write "Single Click on Finder, Single Click on Applications, Double Click on the program"

Gonna have nightmares about hundreds of seniors lined up with notebooks in front of me when I get there. They are all up at like 4am anyway. There will be buses from all the retirement communities parked out front. AAAARHHHHGGHGHHH!!!!

I grew up in South Florida. Nothing like the morning commute up I-95 stuck behind a fleet of Lincoln Town Cars going 54mph in all three lanes.

Pretty sure this will be the normal Genius Bar crew available to help those that want it. Unlike the iPhone, the iPad does not require a contract so no need for them to activate. No one is going to push you off to a corner at gunpoint and require you to get help like it was China.
